Grindcore was never meant for the faint-hearted, and this split 7" from the Swedish bands Sickrecy and Brainwasher exists for one reason only: total sonic annihilation straight in your face. This is pure, rabid old-school grindcore, soaked in the filth and fury of the late ’80s and early ’90s, back when the genre was raw, feral, and absolutely uncompromising. No polish, no safe edges, no mercy. Just violence carved into sound. Sickrecy, a relatively new force formed in 2021, kick things off with two tracks that feel like a chainsaw tearing through your skull. Their sound is chaotic and savage, driven by relentless blastbeats, filthy riffs, and vocals that sound like they’re being vomited straight out of the abyss. There’s a sense of complete madness in their delivery, a violent storm of noise and aggression that leaves no time to recover. It’s the kind of grindcore that grabs you by the throat, slams your head into the wall, and keeps going until everything collapses into feedback and debris. When the needle hits the other side, Brainwasher pick up the weapon and continue the massacre without hesitation. Active since 2015, the band delivers two tracks that feel like blunt-force trauma. Their approach to grindcore is just as savage but drenched in venom and social rage. The riffs grind like rusted machinery, the drums hammer forward with merciless precision, and the vocals spit pure contempt. Lurking beneath the chaos is a clear message aimed at the despotism of social ignorance and the absurdity of modern society. The split 7'' released on 21st of November 2025 (Hail my necro-brother Danihell!!!!), in orange colored wax that looks as dangerous as it sounds!!! A small piece of wax packed with pure sonic hostility.
