Interview with NAMELESS ORDER

Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.

Tell us a few words about NAMELESS ORDER: the members, when it started, and how it all came together.
Nameless Order is a group that has evolved a lot over time. The idea of the group was created in 2021, we were initially called Nameless and our goal was simply to create a small group between friends to have fun! In 2024 We recruited "Scabies" and "Executor", which brought the name Nameless Order. We evolved for 1 year together and following different artistic, the group parted ways in August 2025. After that everything went very fast! We recruited our Lead Guitar "Vlad", our Rhythm Guitar "Vermine" and our drummer "Rogue". Today Nameless Order is darker and stronger than ever!

In 2024 you released your demo “Raw Demo n°1.” Have you prepared any new material over the past two years?
The Demo is quite special we are aware that it is very poorly done and the songs incomplete inside! That's why with our new Line up we decided to tackle a new, much bigger and more qualitative project! The only one I can talk to you about at the moment is called "Return to Cradle (Live in München)". It's a live album that we recorded on January 30, 2026 for our first international show, it should be released in a few weeks at the time I'm writing to you!

Are you currently looking for a record label? Do you prefer working with a label or staying DIY, and why?
We are looking for a label! We have always worked in a DIY way but the limits of these methods are quickly noticeable. That's why we want to move towards a label because thanks to that doors to new horizons will open to us. If a label wants to contact us, do not hesitate!

Is there any funny or weird story from the recordings or from your live shows that you would like to share with us?
I can tell you several anecdotes. For lack of means and visions of the recording we recorded the Demo with the Dictaphone. With the current Line up we repeat in a house "in ruins" which allows us to put us in an atmosphere as soon as we pass the door, the last 5 months we had no heating so all the new songs were written in the cold!  In our last concert we drove 650km Slept in the cars, while moving at 10 with the technical teams it was very trying but at the same time we were super happy to join our friends from Hateful Agony. (Rogue even had a video lesson during the trip).  At our first concert in Liège the mosh was so violent that a member of the public broke his leg and had to be taken to the nearest hospital.

You are very young in age (in your early 20s), and the genre you play is old-school black/thrash metal, the way it was played in the glorious decade of the ’80s. What made you choose to play this genre instead of something more modern that someone might say “fits” your age better?
"Malfeitor" and "Massacra" have chosen a lot of the band's influences. Malfeitor's father is an Old School Thrasher, he had a lot of impact on his musical choices as a very big fan of German Thrash Metal, all mixed with Malfeitor's passion for black metal, it clearly influenced his vision of music. Massacra to a guided vision towards Hellhammer and Celtic Frost that he forged over time! In their eyes, modern metal lacks flavor and power. There is not these old-school vibes and the impact that 80's metal can have.

"Malfeitor" and "Massacra"

Your music is rooted in Black/Thrash Metal. Which artists or bands have been your main influences?
The main influence of our group is Sodom particularly "Obsessed by cruelty" and "Persecution Mania". But with the evolution of the Line up we can now hear more black metal influence such as Dissection or Mayhem.

As young metalheads in Belgium, what kind of difficulties do you face, if any?
Nowadays it is not always easy many people are problematic, jealousy, defamation, lies, extremism. The scene is experiencing a very very dark period the groups shoot each other in the legs even if it hurts their own friends.

Because you feel (and I think it is you way of life) old-school metal not only in your music but also in your appearance. Tell us: if there were a time machine, which decade would you like to travel to, and for what reason?
If a time machine existed, we would travel to 1984, the year that for us is the golden age of Thrash metal in Europe, where it all began and where the German scene began to have its influence.

Describe your ideal live show as a performance band. Have you already experienced that?
Our ideal concert would be a DIY concert in a small room full of people, where beer and Mosh pits are omnipresent. These are the concerts we do the most and nothing beats such an atmosphere. But it is true that we also dream of touching the big stages of the festivals to increase our experience!

What do you think about the rise of AI in music production?
It's going to be simple music made with AI is shit and everything that has to do with AI is shit.

Tell us a few things about the New Underground Thrash Metal Scene in Belgium (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
The new Belgian underground scenes in terms of Thrash Metal is not doing very well at this rare moment are the new groups that we see emerging, with the exception of the group Malefyr which is a reform of Nameless Order under another name, but recently I have not seen many groups create. I can mention very good Friends like Senttura and The Guts who bring the Liège Thrash scene to life.

What does Metal means to you? And give us 10 metal albums that run in your veins.
Metal is a way of life it is not a fashion as the posers may think. Metal is our whole life, it's fights that we defend. If I can quote you 10 albums that inspire us in everyday life? Of course I can.
1 Scream Bloody gore - Death
2 Obsessed By Cruelty - Sodom
3 Death Squad - Darkness
4 Malevolent Assault Of Tomorrow -Violent Force
5 Endless Pain - Kreator
6 Inri - Sarcòfago
7 United Evil Forces - Black Shepherd
8 Storm of the light bane - Dissection
9 Rabid Death’s Curse - Watain
10 Raging Steel - Deathrow

Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
I know the basics of Hellenic scenes. Rotting Christ initiated it in the 90s. It is very distinctive from Nordic black metal because Hellenism is the belief of the Greek gods. (Special Thanks to my friend who learn me about Hellenism)

What are your future plans as a band?
Our plan for the future is to be able to do as many concerts as possible all over the world so that we can share our passion with all the maniacs of this world! We are not looking for popularity we just want to be able to transmit our passion and our vital essence to everyone, "believe in yourself before believing in me".

Thank you very much for your time & keep up the good work! The closure is yours.
Thank you for the interview and thank you for reading. Don’t forget, WE ARE NAMELESS ORDER AND WE ARE HERE TO BRING DARKNESS IN THIS WORLD. -Malfeitor, Massacra, Vermine, Rogue, Vlad.
