Rising from the ashes of the South American underground, NEKRO CVLT DESECRATION return with their second full-length album, “Purification In The Witchcraft Flames”, a record as blasphemous as it is true to the spirit of Black/Thrash Metal, just as taught by the forefathers of the genre. The band began their journey in 2013 in Zulia, Venezuela, amidst scorching heat, drunken nights, and extreme metal cranked to the max. After relocating to Argentina in 2018, they never stopped for a moment: constant touring, split releases (like the recent “Revenge of South American Bestiality” with Blasphemaniac), and now this KILLER full-length, will be released on August 15th by the mighty Murder Records (Hail my necro-brother Danihell!). “Purification In The Witchcraft Flames” is played with the wild authenticity only Latin Americans can deliver. The band rejects any fake digital instrumentation - everything here is raw, filthy, and organic. Nashgot's guitars spit out demonic riffs with blazing solos, Ereshkigal's bass rumbles like a battering ram, the drums of Goat Destruktor have expanded their rhythmic arsenal with rototoms, and Seth Nekromancer’s voice crawls out of flaming pits, soaked in pure Satanic venom! The album opens with its title track, a nightmarish, hellish intro that perfectly captures the mood of its stunning cover art. A truly demonic and terrifying beginning that’ll send shivers down your spine, just before “Ancient Voices From the Graves” kicks in and from the very first notes, the listener is engulfed in a whirlwind of demonic riffs that transport them straight into the inferno on a hellish ride. The album continues to pummel with relentless Black/Thrash anthems like “Spell Of Necromancy...Buried Alive in Darkness,” “Arsenic Angels,” and the phenomenal “Witching Possession”, be sure to check out its killer music video.

Also, “Cvlt to Kaos & Blasphemy” and “Altares de Sangre y Muerte” may be the shortest songs on the album, but they’re absolutely fucking killer!!! Like Satanic chaos shots straight to the veins! Then there are songs like “Into The Coven / True Pestilential Force” (with a haunting violin-driven intro that sets a terrifying tone), “Antichristian Black Metal Reaper MMXXV” (seriously, what a fantastic song title! What do you expect it to sound like?), and the infernal closer “Sabatorical Abomination.” Again, check out their fucking great video!!!

As mentioned earlier, the cover art, crafted by Darkpen Illustrations, is a visionary product of the underground, filled with pagan and occult symbols, exuding the blackness and fire that defines the album. It’s nearly ritualistic, both sonically and visually. This isn’t just a normal Black/Thrash Metal album, this is the ''Soundtrack to Metallic Black Magic'', soaked in alcohol and religious desecration. “Purification In The Witchcraft Flames” is available in a limited cassette edition of only 100 copies and CD format limited to 300 copies.
