My necro-brother Danihell Slaughter, owner of the killer Murder Records, included in the amazing package he sent me with his latest killer releases, an older release from 2016 that he had done in collaboration with another incredible label from Portugal, Helldprod Records. I honestly can’t believe it’s been 9 years since then... how fast time flies, damn it!!! Gorgásmico Pornoblastoma, ladies and gentlemen, from beautiful Portugal and here we have their very first full-length album titled “Delírios de um Defunto.” Just from the name Gorgásmico Pornoblastoma, anyone unfamiliar with the band already gets a hint of what to expect musically. The album cover (which in my opinion is fucking great, so sick!!) sets the tone for what you're about to face. Simply put, this is a furious, wild, outburst-filled album that, if I may say so, falls into the Death/Grindcore genre, with strong elements of hardcore/crust punk. This album contains 24 tracks (!!!), each averaging about a minute in length, but still more than enough to pulverize your ears with ultrasonic drums full of blast beats, guitars that screech like chainsaws, and bass so insanely distorted (or is it maybe a super downtuned guitar so distorted that I think it's the bass? Hahaha!! Whatever it is, it’s brutal and I love it!). As for the vocals, what can I say?? Brutal...really fucking brutal, the kind that churn your stomach. Of course, there are also slow, heavy, torturous parts within the compositions. Responsible for this hellish result are just two people: Céd on guitar and vocals, and Luiz on drums (killer player)! Unfortunately, I don’t speak Portuguese to understand the lyrics, but I believe they must be quite interesting given the themes that Gorgásmico Pornoblastoma deal with (cool name, right??). As I mentioned earlier, “Delírios de um Defunto” is their debut album from 2016. Gorgásmico Pornoblastoma have a rich discography with several splits (especially the splits with the murderous Disfigured Human Mind, which I believe must be hell itself!!) and I highly recommend you discover it just like I did, thanks to my necro-brother Danihell from Murder Records. So, for those who are fans of filth, distortion, and madness in extreme music, Gorgásmico Pornoblastoma will definitely satisfy your needs!!
