What better feeling is there than opening your email and seeing a message from metalhead fans who’ve formed their own band, play the style you love, and want to be featured on your webzine? Black/Speed Metal at its finest!!! So, ladies and gentlemen, here are the Finns EXECUTIONER'S BLADE with their demo “First Execution.” The band has existed since early 2024, and just a few days ago they released their first demo containing three tracks: “Malign Forces,” “The Penitent One,” and “Storm of Vengeance.” From the very first notes you realize that EXECUTIONER'S BLADE are not joking around.They’re here to stay and to take many heads with them!!! Fired-up, rabid, abyssal playing, speed, power, lyricism, and sheer molten metal pouring out of the speakers. Their influences come from the great old ones like Sodom, Destruction, Kreator, and Bathory… I mean… what more could anyone ask for? Pure, untainted blackened steel for the few, not for posers!! All three tracks go down in one shot, especially “The Penitent One,” which is my favorite from the demo. I honestly wonder: if the songs on this demo are already such dynamite, what’s going to happen when they release their debut?? What should we expect from EXECUTIONER'S BLADE? Hmmmm… probably hell itself!!! The core members of EXECUTIONER'S BLADE are T.M. – Vocals, Rhythm & Lead Guitars, T.L. – Drums, and L.T. – Session Bass & Lead Guitar, all of whom have experience playing in other metal bands in the past. You can hear it immediately in their songwriting. Tight, mature, and inspired compositions delivering scorching metal to the listener!
