Interview with TERROR CROSS

!!!METAL PUNK STRAIGHT FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL!!!

Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.

Tell us a few things about TERROR CROSS (Members, Starting Year etc).
Terror Cross are a metal punk trio from Helsinki, Finland. We started in 2012, united by love for all things distorted and filthy. Tom H. Blasphemer handles the demon growls and incantations, Bitchlord destroys ears with sonic vomit 666 string distortion hell, and Revolver Hellstorm is in charge of assault drum battery.

You have recently released your album ''From Hell''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
The album isn't out yet, but it will be really soon from Dystopian Dogs, so no feedback yet.

Label or DIY and why?
We prefer label as it can reach a wider audience. We love DIY releases too though.

Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
Vinyl and tape have the best sound definitely, but nothing wrong with CD or Digital Format either.

Your music style is Black/Thrash MetalPunk. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
We are influenced by bands such as Abigail, Barbatos, Sabbat, Venom, Sodom, Carnivore, etc. Black, thrash, heavy,  death metal and hardcore punk.

Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
We haven't sacrificed much. We just make music for the lust for making it, not trying to get fame or anything. If people like what we do, that's great, but we're not aiming to be super famous.

Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
Blood, sweat and ear ripping loud sounds, and yes we have.

Which attributes, do you think, that a new Black/Thrash Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
Don't think of the attributes, just be true to yourself and do what you feel sounds right and it's gonna be all good.

Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new Black/Thrash Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
Digital platforms definitely help spread music, but on the other hand there's also such an overflow of bands nowadays because of digital platforms it's hard to check it all out.

Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Finland (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
Bands like Bonehunter, Rapid, Repression, Steel Machine, Chevalier and Scumripper for example are great bands. There's also a lot of young people getting to death metal lately, bands such as Galvanizer and Azatoth are really fucking great death metal bands!

Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
Unfortunately no, should get to it!

What are your future plans?
To make sick music for sick people!

Thank you very much for your time & Keep up the good work! The closure is yours.
2022 will be our year of terror as the band celebrates 10 years of horror. Hell is our force and power!!!
