The FUCK IT (awesome name!!!) are a pure straight-up punk/hardcore band, no frills, no fanfare, no posing. They play exactly what they love, straight from the heart, for their like-minded comrades. FUCK IT come from the damp and dark streets of Portugal and are the brainchild of Girø on drums/vocals (Renegados do Boliqueime, Freedoom, Dokuga, Dimmer Future…), Céd on guitar (Gorgámisco Pornoblastoma, Disfigured Human Mind, Insolência, Drenagem, Stercore, Hypomania…), joined by Spell on bass/vocals. Last December, they released their debut album titled “No Rest” through the mighty Murder Records (hail my necro-brother Danihell!!!) and Enfermo Distro. The record contains nine tracks: four re-recorded songs from their first demo (released in January 2025), ''No Rest'', ''Vigilante'', ''Mundo Perdido'', and ''Indesejado'' and five brand-new ones: ''Cansado'', ''O Último Dos Moicanos'', ''Dias Vazios'', ''Fuck It'', and ''Não Olhes Por Mim''. Their songs are packed with energy and passion. Guitars played with sheer fury, distorted bass locking in the rhythm, vocals screaming with raw intensity, and drum skins relentlessly battered without mercy. The compositions are powerful in their simplicity, delivering strong emotions drawn from nocturnal street life. The lyrics are in their native language (with the exception of two tracks: “No Rest” and “Fuck It”), which even though I don’t understand Portuguese at all sounds absolutely amazing to my ears! Recording took place at Studio Agradável in September 2025 by Óscar and Bruno. The layout drawing was made by Madalena Macedo, while the artwork and layouts were created by Cédric Rodrigues. Be sure to check out the two KILLER video clips made by my necro-brother Danihell Slaughter. Another crushing release from Murder Records (just as deadly as the label’s name suggests!), limited to only 300 copies, a record you will enjoy from the very first second to the very last. Anger, hatred, darkness, and rebellion!! I’m inclined to believe that “No Rest” is the perfect soundtrack for street riots.
