Three bands, three tracks and around fifteen minutes of primitive noise. That is pretty much all you need to know before pressing play. This split brings together DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND (Hail my necro-brother Danihell!!!) / PESTE / ABSURD, and there is nothing clean or friendly about any of it. The whole thing sounds dirty, broken and completely underground. DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND start with “Apenas Ruído De Granito Maciço...”, and they waste no time showing what they are about. Noise, distortion, ugly vocals and a complete lack of interest in normal song structures. It sounds like a machine breaking down while someone is still trying to make it louder. There is no polish here, and thankfully there doesn't need to be. PESTE follow with “O Retorno Do Final Do Mundo”. Their track is darker and has a more dragged-out feeling, but it still keeps that same dirty noise approach. The sound is rough and uncomfortable, with everything buried under distortion. It feels less like a song and more like a bad signal coming from somewhere underground. ABSURD close the tape with “Strategic Confinement.” This one goes straight back into primitive noise territory. Distorted sounds, harsh vocals and a lot of chaos make up the track, and there is very little here for anyone looking for normal music. What works about this split is that the three tracks feel like they belong together. None of the bands are trying to clean things up or make the material easier to listen to. This is raw noise, and it stays that way from beginning to end. There is also something good about the short running time. It gets in, makes a mess and gets out. No need for a 60-minute album when three tracks like these can already leave enough damage behind. ''Humanidade Desfigurada Numa Pestilência Absurda...'' is a proper underground noise release. Dirty, primitive and completely free of unnecessary bullshit. If you like noisecore, harsh noise and the kind of tapes that sound like they were recorded in a basement with broken equipment, this one is worth checking out.
