Forget about clean sound, good production or anything that could make this easy to listen to. ''Atomic Aberration'' is nine tracks of ugly, raw grind and noise from DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND. This cassette sounds like it was made with one simple idea: make as much noise as possible and don't give a fuck about the rest. From “Atomic Attack” to “Mass Murder Attack”, the songs come fast, short and completely out of control. Most of the tracks are under two minutes, with some barely reaching a minute. There is no time for long intros, fancy riffs or anything unnecessary. It starts, it gets violent, and then it is gone. “Total Death, Only For Die, Only For Kill”, “Macabre Mutilation” and “Killing With Innocence” are exactly the kind of filthy grindcore cuts you would expect from a release like this. The guitars are rough, the drums sound like they are being beaten into the ground and the vocals are more like angry screams and vomits than anything you would call singing. Then you have tracks like “Coma Atomico” and “Atomic Aberration”, which push the noise side even further. This is where DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND stop worrying about songs and just let the whole thing fall apart. The recording itself fits perfectly. Nothing sounds clean or comfortable. Everything is pushed into the red, and the cassette format only makes the whole thing feel dirtier. There is obviously not much here for someone looking for normal grindcore. These songs are too short, too rough and too chaotic. But if you are into noisecore, raw grind and those releases that sound like they were recorded in the middle of a complete mess, ''Atomic Aberration'' does the job. No polish. No bullshit. No attempt to make it pretty. Just nine ugly pieces of noise and grind & like my necro-brother Danihell Slaughter says ''No fashions, no trends, just grinding noise to rip your body apart!''.
