This is not really a split with two normal songs. It is two separate noise sessions put together on one tape, and both bands seem to have the same idea: make things as ugly and uncomfortable as possible. Released on November 1, 2019, this cassette was limited to 250 hand-numbered copies. DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND take the first side with “Spewing Venomous Noises In Hell”, while ABSURD fill the second side with “Abusive Noise Pollution.” Between them, there are no less than 54 short pieces of pure noise. DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND recorded their session at Necrum Studios in Portugal on July 21, 2018. The lineup was Cadaver Panafernalicus on screams and insults (Hail my necro-brother Danihell!!!), Cadaver Nordicus on guitars and Medronho Maligno on drums. And there is not much point in trying to find ''normal'' songs here. The 25 tracks are basically one long attack of noise, distortion, screams and broken sounds. Titles like “Blasted Brains,” “Noise Is Not Music,” “Biological Rot,” “Cursed Noise” and “A Poisonous Dose Of Noise” pretty much tell you what you are getting. Some tracks are only seconds long, others go on a little longer, but the whole thing feels like one continuous session rather than 25 separate songs. The sound is rough, messy and completely uninterested in being pleasant. Then comes ABSURD from Brazil with “Abusive Noise Pollution.” This side was recorded at Mundo Maldito in Brazil in October 2019. Cesar China handles vocals, guitars and bass and is basically responsible for the whole mess, while Chukill takes care of the drums. ABSURD give us 29 tracks, and again, it is better to think of this as one long noise session rather than a collection of individual songs. “Through The Absurd,” “Influencial Mental Disorder,” “Useless Existence,” “Flux Of Confusion” and “Selected, Neglected, Deleted” are just some of the names thrown into this pile of noise. The interesting thing is that even though the two sides were recorded in different countries and at different times, they fit together very well. DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND sound more like a broken grind/noise machine, while ABSURD push the primitive noise side even further. There are no riffs to follow, no hooks and no clean production. Even calling this “music” might be stretching the word a little. It is more about sound, volume, distortion and making a complete mess. And that is exactly why the cassette works. The short tracks keep changing before you have time to get comfortable, while the rough recording gives the whole thing that cheap, dirty underground feeling. This is the kind of tape that sounds better when you stop looking for songs and just let the noise hit you straight in your face! ''Spewing Venomous Noises In Hell & Abusive Noise Pollution'' is a proper underground noise release. Two countries, two sessions, 54 pieces of noise and absolutely no attempt to make any of it easy. Not for everyone. But if you like your noisecore primitive, filthy and completely out of control, this is the kind of tape you want sitting in your collection.
