Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.
Tell us a few things about SEDUKTOR (Members, Starting Year etc).
Formed in 2024, we are a blackened power speed quartet with Stormhowler on vocals, guitarist Vexx Razer, bassist Intraceptor, and drummer Von Hammerslüt.
You have recently released your EP ''Seduktor''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
We have gotten nothing but positive reactions thus far, people have been waiting for this EP for a long time and we're happy to finally give it to them!
The cover artwork has a great atmosphere! Tell us a few things about it.
Created by Connie Wang at Iconartistry, it is a symbolic visual representation that endeavors to encapsulate the lyrical topics on the EP.

And what about the lyrics?
The lyrics explore multiple sagas that are rooted in a dystopian future of our own creation. Elements of sci-fi, fantasy, and all of its sub genres intersect to weave tales of conquest and lust.
Are you in searching for a record label? What do you prefer, Label or DIY and why?
Being from the underground we are no strangers to the DIY approach. That being said we are currently seeking label partnership. Certain labels are great in that they support and assist us as artists to ultimately create more of the music we wish to put forth to the world.
Is there any funny or weird story from the recordings or from your live shows that you would like to share with us?
We had an amazingly fun time recording the EP with Stephen Hoffman of Electrik City Studios here in Portland, OR. Under the advisement of our legal team (which is definitely real), we can not divulge what may or may not have transpired during those days as we are under a non-disclosure agreement. 🤐 However, we cannot say enough positive things about Stephens engineering and production prowess and would recommend him to any band looking to make an authentic and killer record.
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
All formats are equally valid and enjoyable. The important thing is the actual act of listening to music and consuming real art.

Your music style is Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
We are intensely influenced by Crimson Glory, Immortal, Manowar, Running Wild, Trouble, Rotting Christ, Venom, Queensryche, Ratt, etc. No false metal.
Which things do you think a band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future for your band?
We don't feel the need to preach any sort of "right way" to other bands to reach some of arbitrary success. But we will say the sacrifices made, be it monetary, social, mental, physical; are unavoidable. It just depends what you're willing to lay on the line to do what you want to accomplish.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance band. Have you already experienced that?
Showmanship is extremely important to us. Both visually and energetically we strive to perform in a way that leaves a lasting imprint on our audience, leaving them captivated and fulfilled.
What do you think about the rise of AI in music production?
Lazy garbage. The antithesis of art. AI "art" is the blight of our time in creative human history. We support organic human works of art, for if the work is removed you're left with a vapid interpretation rather than the genuine article.

What attributes do you think that a new Heavy Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
Enthusiasm and authenticity are the pillars to finding your musical identity. Everything else will fall into place if you're passionate and honest about what you're doing.
Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a band to promote its work?
Bandcamp rulez. Any platform that benefits the artist over their own profits are a huge ally to any band trying get their music not only heard but sold.
From your experience in the music industry, what would you tell to a new Heavy Metal band to avoid or what to do?
Don't be a dick, show up to load in on time, learn the sound person's name, talk to the bands you're playing with, play weird shows, be grateful for the small crowds and the big, love what you do or don't do it. I would also tell them to avoid taking advise and follow their own reasoning and intuition.
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Portland, Oregon (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
Portland remains a vital hub of the thriving underground Pacific Northwest metal scene. As we type this now amazing bands are being formed that we haven't heard yet and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Want to shout out Dylan from Headsplit Records/zine for being one the most constant forces of the Portland underground.

What does Metal means to you? And give us 10 metal albums that run in your veins.
Metal is an incredibly powerful form of art, it needs no further explanation. The albums that come to mind in no particular order are:
Crimson Glory- Transcendence
Rotting Christ - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers
Wasp- Wasp
Manowar- Into Glory Ride
Judas Priest- Defenders of the Faith
Dokken- Tooth and Nail
Ratt- Out of the Cellar
Immortal- At the Heart of Winter
Trouble- Run to the Light
Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
We love many Greek bands, as we mentioned Rotting Christ earlier. Other acts we dig are Varathron, Necromantia, and Macabre Omen. And we are very aware of the rabid fan base of metal maniacs that Greece seems to produce in vast quantities.
What are your future plans?
As of this correspondence we are looking forward to opening for the mighty Anvil in a couple weeks here in Portland, and we are well underway writing for the full length. Other than that we're very open and excited for whatever comes our way.
Thank you very much for your time & keep up the good work! The closure is yours.
Thanks to you as well my friend, hope we can come over there and play for all you sikk fucks someday! And thank you to all those reading! If you want more Seduktor:
