Interview with GRAVEDANGER

Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.

1. Tell us a few things about GRAVEDANGER. (Members, Starting Year etc)

GraveDanger is a traditional Heavy Power Metal band from Long Beach California formed in 2013 by Dominic Citrino (Guitars/Vocals).

2. Recently you released your new song ''Stand With Strenght''. So, how many songs will have your new album and how many copies will be pressed?

13 songs would be on our newest album probably hundreds of copies would be made and pressed.

3. Label or DIY and why?

Gravedanger is seeking a proper Label to join. We are a part of a small label called Chaos Force Records.

4. Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?

I think all three are good for marketing as far as CDs.

5. You play Traditional Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)

Some of our biggest influences are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Crimson Glory, Grim Reaper, Tank, H-Bomb, M.A.R.S., Yngwie Malmsteen, Queensryche etc.

7. Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?

An ideal show is when we opened up for Possessed at the Whiskey a-go-go a sold-out show on a Friday night with a really rowdy crowd.

8. Do you see any differences between US Metal Market & EU Metal Market (Labels, Bands, Fans etc)? Which you prefer most?

Metal is very much big in California but it is more Underground fans are not getting signed and backed by labels much in the US anymore I believe bands are more successful in Europe than they are in the USA.

9. Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?

In the modern times I believe that YouTube and Facebook social media is a good way for a band to promote about the fact that there is a lot of censoring going on on social media it is less likely that bands reach the fans they deserve but I believe that if a band has a following in real life that it is more important than on social media.

10. Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed?
Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?

Gravedanger is All or Nothing but at this time are seeking a manager and label to help us get into a studio to record a proper Album.

11. Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?

We have not heard of that.

12. Thank you very much for your time & Keep up the good work! The closure is yours.

Thank you for the interview.
